Greetings fellow badminton enthusiasts. In my 5th year with the CUBC and my 2nd term as an executive, I shall use my experience with the organization to make your Sunday excursion to the club as fulfilling as possible.
Being in charge of getting the venue prepared before your arrival means I'll be one of the first executives at the scene, so feel free to bring forth any queries/complaints/ideas.
Enjoy what the CUBC has to offer for the 2011-2012 season! |

Increase the exposure of the
club through advertising in the newspaper, internet web searches, and word of mouth. Since this will be my last term as an executive, I plan on preserving the quality the club
is being run at. Firstly, I have scheduled the club to run at 3 hours (instead of 2). Secondly,
finding a new president to manage the club '09-'10. Lastly, to control the quality of games
by defining a better classification of player level.

Steer the executive team into a management team as oppose to workers. This can be done
by involving members to open sessions and arrange games. Increase the exposure of the
club through advertising in the newspaper, internet web searches, and word of mouth.
Improving the quality of the club begins with teaching the Rally Point system, using
Yonex Mavis 350/300 yellow birdies and feather birdies, purchasing new lend-out
badminton rackets for the club, and adding more content to the website.
|
|
Increased exposure of club, increased memberships, increased funding, lowered variable costs,
and became more active with content on the website.

The goals for this executive team were to improve the quality of game play, less down time
between court changes, create a website, and increase the quantity of members.
|
|
The club changed to a tag system to organize games, created a newly designed website,
bought new badminton nets, and created new registration forms containing a survey.

The goals for this executive team were creating a system to fairly distribute
court time amongst all members.
|
|
The memorable achievements are creating a sign-up sheet system to organize games, and
increased the quantity of members.
