Admission Criteria

Number of Credits: A four year undergraduate university degree in any program must be completed prior to application.

Required Courses: There are no required courses.

Required GPA: Minimum of 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale.

GPA Calculation: All undergraduate courses that are part of the university degree conferred will be used in the calculation of the GPA, including summer and distance courses. Additional courses completed after the degree will not be used, unless they are part of a supplementary degree scheduled for completion prior to June 30. Repeat courses and the original grade will be included.

Graduate degree holders receive additional +0.2 to GPA.

MCAT: Not required.

Autobiographical Sketch: This must be completed to allow the admission committee to judge the scope of activities of the applicant.

Letters of Recommendation: At least three are required with at least one referee being non-academic. Strongly recommended to have one of the referees be from a member of the community, or from a community organization.

Interview: Interviews will be given to approximately 400 applicants based on their weighted GPA and their score from the admissions questionnaire. Interview format will be Multiple Mini Interview.
