About
The Carleton University Pre-Medical Society was established in 2005 by cofounders Scott Marin and Jaco Grobbelaar. Over the years, the society has seen many changes, new faces and taken on an array of different projects.
The society is aimed at assisting its members by providing insight on the medical school application process, the MCAT and what it means to be a medical student or physician. We host information sessions with guest speakers, including representatives form KAPLAN (the MCAT preparatory course) and current medical students.
This year we are choosing to support the Canadian Cancer Society. We have hosted events such as bake sales, Professor Jeopardy and sports tournaments for this great cause.
Our team of executives is composed of group of enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals who want to help you, and have some fun along the way. The society is also a great way to network and meet more people who share the same interests as you.
Thank you for your interest in the Carleton University Pre-Medical Society
