Candidates for President Candidates for Vice-President Candidates for Treasurer

Candidate #1: Ryan Chan
My fellow badminton players! My name is Ryan and I am a fourth year Engineering student at Carleton. I've been playing at CUBC for four years and was lucky to witness the growth and success of the club and since being on the executive team as both a volunteer executive and a vice-president, I've always tried to give CUBC members the best badminton experience possible. However, along with Angie, I have also noticed much room for improvement and change. By being vice-president, I plan to put the official website, Facebook, and club e-mail account to better use in order to improve communication throughout the club and most importantly, listen to you. Like Steve mentioned, we all realize there are demands being unmet, or even unheard, and as vice president I'd like to make it easier for everyone to communicate their demands to us as well as fulfill them.

Vote for Steve, Ryan, and Angie, and we guarantee a year of the best badminton.
Candidate #2: Cassie Cheung
My name is Cassie Cheung and I'm running for VP. I've been playing competitive badminton for 7 years and have been a CUBC member for the last two years. I'm also well connected to a large majority of badminton players in Ottawa.

If elected, I will work towards improvements such as:
-unity among members of the club (social events)
-increased awareness of club (marketing, facebook)
-increased overall club level of play (training for members)
If elected, I will fight for:
-increased court time -cleaner floors

I am a dedicated member, attending all of the weekly sessions. I will be open to suggestions members have to enhance the club and increase the efficiency of the club to maximize court time. I am an easy-going, approachable person and will work hard to fulfill my duties as well as exceed your expectations as your future vice president.
