Candidates for President Candidates for Vice-President Candidates for Treasurer

Candidate #1: Angie Li
Hey everyone, my name is Angie and I'm running to be your treasurer for the upcoming school year. Most of you probably know me as the girl that was always excited about doing court changes. Maybe the majority of you thought I was crazy for being so excited, but the reason why I enjoy doing court changes is because I love seeing everyone have fun; whether it's a challenging game, or simply to meet new people--I've always tried my best to make sure everyone gets the most out of their game time. After being your treasurer last year, I can proudly say that I have experience with the financial duties anŽd that I hold a true passion for this club and its success. However, I must admit that CUBC could still use some improvements, for instance, more play time, a better ranking system, cleaner floors and most importantly, a more unified executive team. I believe that our club has great potential and as your treasurer, a main goal of mine for the upcoming year will be to bring change to the club by working on those improvements. I will aim for maximum funding and sponsorships and, agreeing with Steve, through increased communication the funding will be put to better use with the prime goal of maximizing the quantity and the quality of your game time because after all, everyone just wants to play more badminton right?

Vote for Steve, Ryan, and Angie, and we guarantee a new and improved badminton club.
Candidate #2: Brigette Kwok
Treasurer, I understand it is an important role to handle the club's finance carefully. In the past 2 years, I have been living independently with a prudent mind in managing my finance. I am also fully equipped with club financial budget managing skill from being a class treasurer for 2 years. Moreover I have been working as a general helper and cashier for almost 8 months at Tim Horton's in Residence building. It is no doubt that I am confident in monitoring the club account balance, improving and ensuring the overall budget flow quality in order to further enhance the overall standard. The complete financial situation and improvement will be presented in details during Financial Assistance Committee for Clubs & Societies presentation. Along with fulfilling a treasurer's basic responsibilities, I am passionate to get involved with CUSA more closely and frequently to seek for maximum funding for the benefit of our club. I am looking forward to this opportunity to exhibit my skills again and promote our club in another advanced level.
