Quantitative Methods: Research Design and Data Analysis
Introduction to research methodology and use of multivariate statistics in sociology. Descriptive statistics, foundations of statistical inference, overview of selected hypothesis tests, bivariate correlations and regression, introduction to multiple regression. Analysis of sociological data using SPSS.Prerequisites: SOCI 2003 [1.0] or SOCI 2001 and SOCI 2002 and third=year standing.
Lectures and lab three hours a week.
