Post-Soviet States and Societies

The relationship between social forces and state structures at both the national and local levels in the USSR and the post-Soviet states.
(Also listed as PSCI 4502.)
Prerequisite: fourth-year standing and one of the following: PSCI 3208 or PSCI 3209 or PSCI 3704 or PSCI  3705 or HIST 3600, or permission of the Institute.
Seminar three hours a week.
