About Us
The Sprott International Business Association aims to create an environment that provides students with academic support and networking opportunities in the form of workshops, services, panel discussions and events that are related to international business. We are the only club representing students enrolled in the prestigious Bachelor of International Business program and also cater to anyone interested in the ever-growing field. Our past events have addressed topics such as emerging economies, Canada-US trade relations, global expansion, and commercial bribery. We recognized a total of 70 paid members only three years after our inception in 2009 and have plans to expand further by creating more partnerships in both the Ottawa and international communities as well as by hosting more events.

An important aspect of SIBA is our Language Committees. Language Heads will be able to answer any inquiries about the exchange process and the cultures they have experienced. In addition to advice and academic support, Language Heads will be holding cultural events throughout the year. Come out and share Japanese sushi, Chinese dumplings, Spanish tapas, German bratwurst or French crepes while getting to know your Language Head!
