About Us
Russia and Eurasia Program (REP)
The Russia & Eurasia Program (REP) at CGPM was established in 2008 to support the rapidly developing government, academic and business linkages between Canada and countries in the region, with particular focus on Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The continuing transition and development of regional economies, coupled with significant global and regional governance challenges, provide Canada with ample opportunities for bilateral cooperation in many areas with countries in the region.
The REP concentrates on the development and execution of projects in areas of public sector reforms, corporate governance & management, Northern & Arctic development, agriculture & natural resources. By providing information, analytical services and necessary contacts, training public & business sector leaders on issues of best governance and management practices, and facilitating dialogue between governments and business leaders, the Program, in cooperation with its partners, serves as a bridge between Canada and countries in the region.
