The Centre is located in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
Members
The Centre comprises a
group of social scientists with diverse substantive and methodological
interests in varied areas of social research.
Research
The Centre's researchers
are engaged in research on various facets of Canadian society using social
survey data. Current research topics of
investigation include the social dynamics of contributory behaviours, determinants of social and civic engagement, social determinants of health, and historical patterns in the administration of Canadian justice.
