Distributed Network Processing
Software aspects of distributed networks. Client-server systems. Internet and the WWW. LAN's and WAN's, routing protocols. Transportable software, Java applets. Use of modern software tools in communication network monitoring and analysis. Network management.Prerequisite: (SYSC 2004 or SYSC 2100) and (SYSC 3502 or SYSC 4502 or SYSC 4602) (SYSC 4602 may be taken concurrently).
Lectures three hours a week, laboratory three hours alternate weeks.
