RELI 3220 [0.5 credit]

Reformation Europe

A history of the Protestant and Catholic Reformations of the sixteenth century, with emphasis on the theological disputes of the protagonists and the impact of these disputes on the social, political and cultural developments of the era. (Also listed as HIST 3708.)
Precludes additional credit for RELI 3708 and HIST 3708.
Prerequisite: 0.5 credit at the 2000-level in HIST or third-year standing.
Lecture three hours a week.
