Reformation Europe
A history of the Protestant and Catholic Reformations of the sixteenth century, with special emphasis on the theological disputes of the protagonists and the impact of these disputes on the social, political and cultural developments of the era. (Field a) (Also listed as RELI 3220).Prerequisite: a 2000-level history course or third-year standing and 1.0 credit in history.
Lectures three hours a week.
