Health Economics
Economic analysis of the organization, financing, and utilization of health-care services. Topics include supply and demand of health care, the impact of private and social health insurance on demand, and policy issues in the provision of health care in Canada.Prerequisite: ECON 2030 with a grade of C- or higher or ECON 2003 (no longer offered) with a grade of C- or higher, and ECON 2202 with a grade of C- or higher.
Lectures three hours a week.
