Statistical Methods in Economics and Business II
A continuation of ECON 2201. Topics include estimation and hypothesis testing with two populations, correlation, simple and multiple linear regression, analysis of variance, tests of goodness of fit and independence, and introduction to statistical computing.Precludes additional credit for ECON 2200 (no longer offered), STAT 2509, STAT 2559, and STAT 2607.
Prerequisites: ECON 2201 (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or higher, and ECON 1402 (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or higher.
Lectures three hours a week, tutorials one and a half hours a week.
