Economics of Information and the Media
An introduction to the economics of information and the media, with a focus on the analysis of production and distribution of information, the application of theory to selected communications-media industries in Canada, and the analysis of existing Canadian policies.Precludes additional credit for ECON 3200 (no longer offered), ECON 4205 (no longer offered), and ECON 4850.
Prerequisite: ECON 1000 or FYSM 1003.
Lectures three hours a week.
