Biomechanics
Properties of muscles, tendons, bones, joints and the co-ordinated use of these structures. Human locomotion and fitness, bird flight, especially the soaring of the vulture and the albatross, and animal migration.Prerequisites: (BIOL 1003 and BIOL 1004) or (BIOL 1103 and BIOL 1104).
Lectures three hours a week, workshop two hours a week.
