Foundations of Biology I
A lecture and laboratory course focusing on the cell. A specialist course emphasizing the organization of cells, cellular metabolism, classical and molecular genetics and the reproduction of cells and organisms. This course is for students who are enrolled in the B.Sc Honours programs in Biological Sciences.Precludes: BIOL 1003
Prerequisite: Ontario 4U/M in Biology (or equivalent), or Ontario 4U/M in Chemistry (or equivalent).
Lectures three hours a week, laboratory or tutorial three hours a week.
