Nonparametric Methods (Honours)
Order statistics; projections; U-statistics; L-estimators; rank, sign, and permutation test statistics; relative efficiency of tests; nonparametric tests of goodness-of-fit, homogeneity, symmetry, and independence and their efficiency; nonparametric density estimation.Also offered at the graduate level, with additional or different requirements, as STAT 5516, for which additional credit is precluded.
Prerequisite: STAT 3559 or permission of the School.Lectures three hours a week.
