Qualitative Research: Approaches & Strategies
Introduction to qualitative research design, data collection, and data analysis. Topics may include: sampling, data collection methods, archival research, computer assisted qualitative data analysis (e.g. NVivo, Atlas, Ti), research values and ethics, epistemological issues in research. reflexivity; writing up qualitative research.Prerequisites: SOCI 2001 and third-year standing.
