Women and Politics in North America

The efforts of women in North America to increase their political role through public activism, including in party organizations, social movements, legislatures, courts and the executive branch of government.
Prerequisite: fourth-year Honours standing or permission of the Department, and one of GPOL 1000, PSCI 2002, PSCI 2003, PSCI 2200, PSCI 3200, PSCI 3201.
Seminar three hours a week.
