Gender, State and Public Policy
Interaction of gender politics and the state. Feminist approaches to analyzing the state as a site of gendered engagement. Emphasis on representation, state feminism and gender-based analysis.Prerequisite: fourth-year Honours standing or permission of the Department, and one of GPOL 1000, PSCI 2101, PSCI 2102, PSCI 2500, PSCI 3500, or PSCI 3502.
Seminar three hours a week.
