Mexican Politics
An introduction to the politics, society and economy of Mexico. Topics include processes of democratization and economic liberalization, human rights, the environment, the role of women, labour, and indigenous peoples, and social policy. Special emphasis on Mexico's role in the North American political economy.Prerequisite: third-year standing and one of GPOL 1000, PSCI 2102 or PSCI 2602
Lectures three hours a week.
