Network Management and Measurements
Network management fundamentals, standards, and protocols. The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Structure of Management Information and MIB. SNMP management challenges and the need for real-time measurements. Introduction to tools and applications for network measurements and monitoring.Prerequisite: third-year standing in the Networking program.
Lectures three hours a week, tutorial/laboratory two hours a week.
