Agents of Political Violence
The processes used in preparing individuals to commit torture, murder and other forms of violence on behalf of a state or associated organizations, and how such violence is justified by its direct perpetrators, their commanders (police/military and political), and members of their society.Precludes additional credit for HUMR 3402 (no longer offered).
Prerequisite: second-year standing or permission of the Institute.
Lectures three hours a week.
