Modern Thought and Culture
A broad examination of Western thought and culture from the 18th Century to the present, with emphasis on major thinkers and intellectual, ideological, and cultural movements. The course is intended for students from varied disciplinary backgrounds. (Field e)Precludes additional credit for HIST 3100 (no longer offered).
Lectures three hours a week.
