Parents and Parenting Theories, Concepts and Applications from Developmental Psychology
Parents and parenting from infancy to adolescence. Potential topics include: establishing a relationship with your child, child discipline, historical perspectives, child care issues, and the impact of marital conflict and divorce. Applied issues relevant to parents and "future" parents.Prerequisite: normally restricted to students entering the first year of a B.A. program.
Seminars three hours a week.
