History of World Cinema
Historical survey of world cinema, examining the forms, structures and stylistic conventions of various periods and nations. Attention is given to the development of a critical idiom suited to the description, analysis, and evaluation of film. (Also listed as ENGL 2608).Prerequisite: FILM 1000 or a 1000-level course in English.
Lecture and secreening three hours a week, lecture one hour a week.
