History of Literary Theory
Introduction to ideas about literature, aesthetics, authorship, and readership as these have circulated in periods before the twentieth century.Precludes additional credit for ENGL 3000, and ENGL 3001 (no longer offered).
Prerequisites: 1.0 credit in ENGL at the 1000 level and third-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
