The Economics of Gender and Ethnicity
The impact of gender and ethnicity on labour-market outcomes. Topics may include: employment, work, earnings, and poverty; discrimination and policy responses; immigration; the economics of the household; gender and development; micro-credit; labour standards.Precludes additional credit for ECON 3100 (no longer offered) and ECON 3810 (no longer offered).
Prerequisite: ECON 1000 or FYSM 1003.
Lectures three hours a week.
