Foundations of Software Engineering
A survey of the software engineering field. Possible topics include: processes, project management, requirements engineering, formal specifications, software design, software reliability, reuse, computer-aided software engineering, configuration management, maintenance and re-engineering.Precludes additional credit for SYSC 4800.
Prerequisite: COMP 2004 or COMP 2404.
Lectures three hours a week.
