CHEM 1001 [0.5 credit]
General Chemistry I
This maths-intensive course covers introduction to periodicity, gas laws, equilibrium, bonding, electrochemistry, and organic chemistry. This is a specialist course for students intending to take second year chemistry.Precludes: CHEM 1000, CHEM 1005
Prerequisite: Ontario 4U/M in Chemistry or equivalent.
Lectures three hours a week, laboratory and tutorial three hours a week.
