Introductory Chemistry

Introduction to fundamental laws and principles of chemistry and the techniques needed to solve numerical problems. Atoms, molecules, phases of matter, chemical reactions, thermochemistry and equilibrium processes.
Precludes additional credit for Ontario 4U/M Chemistry.
Prerequisite: Ontario Grade 11 Chemistry or equivalent.
Lectures three hours a week, tutorial one hour a week.
