Studies in Globalization and Human Rights
Examination of the various dimensions and meanings of globalization and its relationship with human rights. Main emphasis will be on the implications of the emerging global economy for economic, social, political and cultural rights.Also listed as SOCI 3027 and PSCI 3802.
Prerequisites: ANTH 1001 and ANTH 1002, or ANTH 1003 [1.0], or SOCI 1001 and SOCI 1002, or SOCI 1003 [1.0], or HUMR 1001 [1.0], and third-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
