Studies in Indigenous Peoples of North America: Current Issues in Anthropological Research
Examination of a range of issues related to particular indigenous communities and regions of North America. Topics include political, socio-economic, and cultural transformations, Aboriginal title and rights, collaborative research, and other topics relevant to indigenous communities and indigenous - non-indigenous relations.Precludes additional credit for ANTH 3610.
Prerequisites: ANTH 1001 and ANTH 1002, or ANTH 1003 [1.0], or SOCI 1001 and SOCI 1002, or SOCI 1003 [1.0].
Lecture three hours a week.
