Anthropological Theory and Methods
Introduction to the logic of inquiry. General methodological issues in anthropological research. Topics include the relation between theory and observation, problems of research design and fundamental techniques of ethnographic research, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.Precludes additional credit for ANTH 2003.
Prerequisites: ANTH 1001 and ANTH 1002, or ANTH 1003 [1.0].
Lectures three hours a week.
