COMP 1406 [0.5 credit]
Design and Implementation of Computer Applications
A continuation of
COMP 1405 focusing on the design and implementation of complete applications. Topics covered include persistence, graphical user interface design and implementation, event-driven programming, recursion, drawing and manipulating 2D graphics and networking.
Precludes additional credit for
COMP 1006 and
SYSC 1101.
Prerequisite:
COMP 1405. Restricted to students registered in the B.C.S. program, combined Honours in Computer Science and Mathematics, Honours Computer Mathematics, and Honours Computer Statistics.
Lectures three hours a week, tutorial one and a half hours a week.
