The 2013 Model NATO conference took place February 21-24 on the Carleton University Campus. Lt-Col Kay Kulen, Military Attache of Germany to Canada CSDS, gave the keynote address at this year's opening ceremonies, held at the Lord Elgin Hotel in downtown Ottawa. Croatia's Ambassador to Canada, Veselko Grubisic, gave the annual lunchtime keynote address on Saturday, February 23. The winner of this year's Dr. Lee Windsor Award for Best Delegation was Team U.S.A., represented by the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University -- the first NPSIA delegation ever to participate in the annual event.
