"Conversing with the Adversary: Interviews with Failed Suicide Bombers and Their Dispatchers"
Yoram Schweitzer is a Senior Research Fellow and Director, Program on Terrorism and Low Intensity Conflict at the Institute for National Security Studies (formerly the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies), Tel Aviv. Formerly Mr. Schweitzer worked for the Israeli intelligence community; was Head of the Counter International Terror Section in the IDF and was a member in a Task Force dealing with Israeli MIAs at the Prime Minister's Office. Mr Schweitzer serves as a consultant for government ministries on a private basis and lectures and publishes widely on terror-related issues, in Israel and abroad. His publications include, The Globalization of Terror: The Challenge of Al-Qaida and the Response of the International Community (co authored with Shaul Shay, 2003); "Al-Qaeda and the Internationalization of Suicide Terrorism" (with Sari Goldsetin Ferber, 2005); editor of Female Suicide Bombers: Dying for Equality (2006). The subject of his presentation will be published in February 2013 in Conducting Terrorism Field Research.
