Arranged by divine will
I am but graphite
Carbon more versatile
Than diamond
I am but some scribbles
A few random brush strokes
I am an electromagnetic field
Travelling at the speed of light
I'm here to tell you
What the dead
And the stranger
And your sibling
And your neighbour
Have felt
And known
And learned
And thought
Since before you were conceived
I am the currency of wisdom
Preparing to make change
So read,
Feel my curves
And touch my serifs
As a strange
Or familiar
Voice
Forms in your mind
I am your alphabet
Gaze and marvel
Learn
And know
