Studies in Work, Industry and Occupations: Authority and Expertise
The nature and place of expert knowledge in societies. The development of the practices and organization of the professions and their relation to social stratification, the state, patriarchy and gender; the systematic development of knowledge in societies.Precludes credit for SOCI 2508.
Prerequisites: third-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
