Varieties of Religious Experience
The variety of religious experiences and their interpretations: myth, literature, art and religious doctrine. Topics include time, self, the other, journey and wisdom. Examples ranging from shamanistic experience to the abstractions of Buddhist philosophy.Precludes additional credit for RELI 1205, RELI 1206 and RELI 1402 and RELI 2002.
Prerequisite: restricted to students registered in the Bachelor of Humanities program.
Lecture three hours a week.
