The Politics of Law and Morality
Politics of moral regulation in Canada, the United States and other jurisdictions. The treatment in law and public policy of such human rights issues as: capital punishment, sexual orientation, euthanasia, abortion, new reproductive technologies, racial discrimination, religious and equality rights.Prerequisite: third-year standing and one of PSCI 2002, PSCI 2003 or PSCI 2101.
Lectures three hours a week.
