Philosophy of Cognitive Science
Philosophical issues arising from cognitive science. Topics may include: the proper methodology for studying the mind, the very possibility of a “science of mind”, the computer model of the mind and reactions to it.Prerequisite: PHIL 2501 or PHIL 2502 or second-year standing in Cognitive Science, or permission of the department.
