Gender and Philosophy
Topics may include the role of gender categories in the history of philosophy, theories of gender and sexual orientation, the politics of gender and sexuality, the place of the body in philosophical theory, and the influence of gender and gender metaphors on science and medicine.Prerequisite: a course in philosophy or second-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
