Computer Technology Basics
Construction and function of PCs. Introduces technical concepts and terminology relating to system boards, system busses, input/output devices, memory, microprocessors and peripherals. Interaction of software and hardware; data storage; performance issues.Prerequisite: restricted to students in the B.I.T. degree program.
Lectures two hours a week, tutorial/laboratory two hours a week.
