Musics of Canada's First Peoples
The context and significance of musical expressions for representative Canadian First Nations and the contributions of individuals in the creation of music and meaning in First Peoples' communities. Also offered at the graduate level, with additional requirements, as MUSI 5016, for which additional credit is precluded.Prerequisite: fourth-year standing or permission of the instructor.
Seminars three hours a week.
