Music in the Classical Era
European music from the early 18th century to the beginning of Romanticism. The evolution of the Classical style in important works of composers from the 1720s and the Viennese school of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven.Precludes additional credit for MUSI 2002.
Prerequisite: second-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
