Modern Intellectual History
An examination of some of the major ideas and ideologies from 1800 to the present, including romanticism, liberalism, nationalism, symbolism, socialism, Freudianism, communism, feminism, and postmodernism.Prerequisite: restricted to students in the Bachelor of Humanities program.
Lectures three hours a week.
