A survey of European international history in the First World War; peace making 1919-1923; inter-war diplomacy and the origins of the Second World War; the European war to 1941. (Field b)Precludes additional credit for HIST 3800 [1.0] offered prior to 2000-2001.
Prerequisite: a 2000-level history course or third-year standing and 1.0 credit in history.
Lectures three hours a week.
